Shortly after I released Little Sway, I started trying to sweep my earlier, folk-tinged releases under the rug. I had them removed from all major digital platforms, and I think I even went so far as to go around YouTube and submit takedown requests for videos that used my music from those earlier days, hoping that, should anyone look me up, they’d find only the latest and greatest. But since then, I’m feeling much less insecure about my body of work, and really happy with the growth and progress that my discography makes plain.
