It’s just after midnight, and at this time tomorrow night, I’ll be playing my final songs at the Heirloom release show, at long last. I’ve been imagining this show for so long, so caught up in my head about it, that it feels as if I’ve already played it three times over, start to finish.

I’ll be joined on-stage by ten people, ten lovely people who have given me their time and their talents to help me create something grand, so much bigger than myself, between the album and the performance of it.

There are officially only 24 tickets remaining for the show - which, in case you’re wondering, is at downtown Windsor’s newest venue, Meteor (138 University Ave. W.). Advance ticket sales ended at midnight, so these tickets will be available at the door only, while they last, at $15 each. Doors open at 9pm, so if you haven’t got tickets, please show up early to claim your spot! There are more details about the show over on Facebook. I’m really thrilled that the ticket sales picked up so much in the last couple of days. I think we’ll most certainly be sold out by the time I step on-stage.

CDs will be available at the show for $15 each. They’re also now available by mail order, anywhere in the world, right here in my shop. You can also download the digital version there directly if you’re alright with MP3 versions, or else you can find it on Bandcamp in your choice of high-quality format.

The vinyl pre-order is continuing for just one last week, and there are 20 copies remaining until we reach our goal. Each copy includes a digital download code. Once the deadline is reached and we meet our goal of 100 units (which will happen, whether or not I buy up the remaining stock myself), the vinyl enters production, at which point it does take about 8-10 weeks until you’ll get your vinyl. It’s a long wait, but I promise it will be worth it, and it’ll go by faster than you think.

The album is also now available on my SoundCloud page, and also on my YouTube channel. The album will begin appearing throughout the day today on all the major streaming platforms - Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, and so on. I’ll be sure to corral these all into one tidy Smart URL for you as soon as possible!

As I type this, I’m bundled in a thick blanket, and I’m still cold. I’ve been camped out in the basement, rehearsing the songs one last time with Mike, and waiting patiently until midnight. It’s a rite of passage now: new music means waiting until the first minute of the new day, to launch it into the world, publish posts, switch uploads to public, Tweet, Instagram, so on. I had meant to paint my nails tonight - paint them red, something memorable for tomorrow’s show - but I couldn’t keep my hands still for long enough to do it. I have a feeling it will be memorable enough without the nails.

Okay, I’m off to bed, because I am exhausted, and tomorrow is bound to be a very long day (and Adeila wakes up at 7am every morning without fail). I am so proud of Heirloom and I hope you’ll enjoy this latest offering. Thank you for listening, reading, supporting!
