Recorded in Chicago in December of 2009 at Soma Studios, Darling, Darling is a mix of stripped-down songs, filled-out songs, and ornately beautiful songs. The album features guest performer Mike Kinsella (of solo project Owen), and a string quartet arranged by Raphael Roter and performed by Drew Jurecka (who most notably performs with Jill Barber).
