1. "Coming Home" featured in CBC Radio 3 Podcast!
One of the things I love online is CBC Radio 3. I'm always listening in and commenting on the blog. Host Grant Lawrence featured my song "Coming Home" in his SXSW Preview Podcast on March 11, 2011. I downloaded it and listened along in my kitchen while making dinner and couldn't help but start dancing all happily when he started talking about my song, and my family! I'm so happy to be involved with R3 in any way.

2. Darling, Darling hits iTunes on Tuesday, March 22
That's right - my album Darling, Darling will finally be available on iTunes as of Tuesday, March 22nd (or possibly within 24-48 hours of Tuesday if things happen to get wonky). Tracks will be $0.99, and the whole album should be $7.92 (again unless things get wonky - I guess iTunes gets to call all the shots in the end).
I'm so sorry that this didn't happen sooner! It turns out, you can indeed get your music on iTunes by yourself. And sometimes, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.
3. On-air radio performance on CJAM - Monday, March 21 (listen in online!)
On Monday at 11:00am EST, I'll be performing live on-air on CJAM 99.1fm in Windsor/Detroit, on the program The Canadian Jam. You can tune in online at www.cjam.ca. I get all nervous and excited about doing things live, so tune in and see what weird stuff I do and say on air!
Also, while you're on the CJAM website, you should cast your ballot in their annual Jammy Awards. If I win "Best Local Band/Musician", I'm going to hold a free show in Windsor with four dozen free cupcakes. Plus, it'd be awesome to just win that title! So if you can take a second and vote for me, that'd be awesome!
4. Upcoming show - Milk Coffee Bar, April 3
Mike Hargreaves and I will be playing an all-ages show at the Milk Coffee Bar (68 University Ave W) on Sunday, April 3, 2011. Things should kick off shortly after 9pm, and admission will be $5. Mike is leaving soon to go on tour with his band Michou, so this might be your last chance to catch him solo before the summer! Also, my birthday is on April 6, so come hang out and celebrate early!
