In 24 hours, I will be on a plane on the way to Windsor, Ontario, where I'll be taking my summer vacation! While I'm up there, I'll be playing a show with Michael Hargreaves, the singer of Michou, and also Efan, Michou's drummer! We'll be playing at the Phog Lounge on Tuesday, July 27, which also happens to be the point at which I'll have officially gone TWO MONTHS without smoking. Hooray!

The target for manufacturing for my upcoming album "Darling, Darling" has not only been reached, but surpassed! Over $1870 has been raised (the target was $1700), and 106 copies of the album were sold. The record goes into production at the manufacturing company tomorrow.
I never really thought I'd make it to my goal! To have so many people willing to put down their money just on the promise of a record, something that didn't even exist yet, is absolutely incredible, and so very humbling for me.
I'll be announcing the winner of the ukulele contest this Wednesday. Check back then for the video announcement!

Pre-order ends at midnight on Sunday - sale price of $15 til then!
After a little over a month of having the pre-order open for my record, things are coming to a close. The sale ends at 12:00AM MONDAY, JULY 12TH, and then it's all over!
Until then, pre-ordering is only $15 - you won't get your name in the liner notes for your contribution though (I had to finalize the layout! I'm sorry!), but you'll still be entered in the draw to win that super cute ukulele I painted.
Also, when you come to my super awesome CD release show on August 14, 2010 at the Company House, you'll get in for the super awesome price of $5 (everybody else has to pay $10). Mary Stewart will be performing to kick off the night, and the Belle Comedians will play some nice dancy music so we can all drink and mingle once my set's done! The doors open at 8:30, and the show starts at 9:00.
The ukulele will be drawn for next week! Stay tuned!
