Taken from the Facebook event, Crissi Cochrane at Taloola -

Indie folk/pop artist Crissi Cochrane will be performing an intimate, unplugged set at Taloola Cafe in Windsor on Friday, June 10th.

This night will be special for three reasons:

1. It's the last show Crissi will be playing in Windsor for a while! She'll be taking some time off to focus on writing, recording, making videos, and hopefully vacationing! Damnit she needs a vacation!

2. Crissi's darling parents will be in attendance! Gaze in wonder at the people who raised her (who may or may not be wolves).

3. Crissi's boyfriend Michael will be coming home from a six-week long tour, like, the next day! Which means she'll probably be losing her mind with excitement (and possibly screaming at clocks to hurry it up already).

Admission is free or pay-what-you-can. Handmade birdies and flower brooches will be available along with copies the CD "Darling, Darling".

Crissi's set runs from 8:00pm-9:00pm sharp! Don't be late!

I have one more show coming up in Windsor. After this, I may be taking a bit of time away from live shows for a month or two to focus on writing, recording, and maybe some video-related things!

I'll be playing at Taloola Cafe (296 Devonshire Rd) on Friday, June 10 from 8:00pm-9:00pm. Admission is pay-what-you-can. This show is going to be special because my parents will be in attendance!

I got a new fish yesterday, as our beloved Ponyo is no more. She died of natural causes. Our new fish is named Prince Wellington The First, or "Welly" for short. He is the most beautiful beta fish I've ever seen.

Also, as of today, I have not had a cigarette for one full calendar year. I rewarded myself with a pedicure, watermelon sorbet, and popcorn.

I'm playing at Phog (157 University Ave W) tonight! Doors are at 9:30, admission is $5. Den-igan and Mary Stewart will be playing as well! And, in a fashion that is coming to be expected of me (maybe?), I have baked cupcakes.

Strawberry cupcakes with french vanilla icing, and skittles/sprinkles on top! Free when you come to the show!

Mary Stewart is a friend of mine from Halifax. She moved to Toronto when I moved to Windsor, and this is her first trip to my (new) neck of the woods. I'm a big fan of her music and her style, which I think has begun to really influence mine! She'll be playing at Taloola on Friday, May 20 from 8:00pm-9:00pm, so if you miss her tonight, you can catch her tomorrow for free/pay-what-you-can!

Mary Stewart is coming to Windsor!

Isn't she adorable?

Mary shares my passion for cupcakes, kitties, dresses, and guitars, meaning she is pretty much my hero, and or just the neatest girl in the world to me. I am enthralled to have her visiting Windsor and crashing on my couch.

Thanks to all who came out to see Rebekah Higgs, Travis Reitsma and I at Phog last night! I keep finding the Phog crowd to be increasingly more quiet and attentive. It's awesome/intimidating, and I'm very grateful for it.

If you didn't get a chance to see me at Phog last night, I'll be playing at Taloola Cafe TONIGHT! My set runs from 8:00pm - 9:00pm, and admission is free or pay what you can. I'll have CDs, more flower brooches, and handsewn birdies! The cafe is located at 396 Devonshire Road (you can take the Crosstown 2 to get there - that's my plan!).
