Saw people flying kites on the Commons on my way to work on Sunday. I've never really actually hung out on the Commons, and of course the only times I've ever really wanted to, I've been on my way to work.

Tried to make raisin bread yesterday in my bread machine. Ended up putting it in the oven instead. It kind of sucks, but maybe next time it will suck less.

New plan: I want to show you pictures! And tell you about my boring life!

Took a walk when I got off work at Job #1 to head to Job #2 to pick up some things. Almon street looks like a dream when it gets residential near Oxford Street! Halifax is a lovely place. Flats all the time, jackets only in the mornings and at night. Crocuses and daffodils all over the place! Makes me a happy girl.

The new Michou album, Cardona. This record is AWESOME. My last.fm account notes that I have listened to tracks on this album a total of 415 times. According to this, Cardona is also my number one top played album (and Michou the top played band) of all the music I've listened to in the last year.

MICHOU are coming to Halifax in May! And also everywhere in between here and their hometown of Windsor. I'll be playing with them on Friday, May 14th and Saturday, May 15th at the Halifax Pavilion on Cogswell (all ages, 6:30PM start, price tba). So come hang out! And if you don't know Michou already, check them out online.

PS, sorry I've been neglecting you lately, but to be honest there isn't a lot to say! I've been working full time for the past month at a little trophy shop and dreaming of all the lovely things I'd like to do this summer. Soaking up the sun when I can. I just turned 21 yesterday, so I should probably go update all those bios and promo materials that boast about how I'm "only 20 years old". (Or, since this is the second time I've had to update that field, maybe I should just write a new bio altogether?)
